How do we provide educational, unforgettable and unparalleled experience?
Our founders and staff have a wide experience and knowledge in Rwanda’s wildlife conservation and tourism development that was gained over years of working in this field, which positions Rwanda eco-tours uniquely. Secondly, they have been trained and acquired expertise in ecotourism and wildlife conservation from a reputable university in the field of ecotourism and conservation and are therefore in a better position to share such expertise to ensure enhanced tourism services and professionalism at both institutional and individual level in Rwanda.Thirdly, our professional safari guides will always try to ensure visitor satisfaction by providing unique opportunities to learn and experience nature and one world’s richest cultures and history of the Rwandan people.
How do we enable local communities to directly benefit from conservation and tourism?
We support local people mostly those neighboring protected areas and tourism attractions to benefit more from tourism. This is done by supporting them technically and financially to develop small-scale tourism enterprises as a linkage to sustainable conservation. We support directly such community initiatives by contributing 20% of our profits. We strengthen this support to communities by encouraging our visitors to visit such projects while in Rwanda and to see for themselves how their visits to Rwanda is helping to improve the livelihoods of local people neighboring the attraction sites they visit. This will not only open tourist markets to local tourism enterprises but also encourage visitor and community interactions.
